Bill Hall -- Former Well Known Cadillac Collector in CA
« on: September 01, 2017, 04:28:16 PM »
Calling all old timers (like me). I own a 1960 Eldo Biarritz formerly owned by Bill Hall from California. He had it as late as 1985. He may have bought it from a Dr DePersio in California. If anyone has any relatively recent contact details on either of these guys please let me know. Hopefully they're still around :)

I see Hall in the 1984 directory but not in the 2004.  I can not find the other name. Sooner or later we will all be dropped from the directory.

I suspect your 60 Biarritz might be in the Collectible Automobile issue from 1985 that started me on my Eldorado quest. I don't have my issue handy but I recall a similar 60 and a couple of other prominent De Persio Eldorados in that issue.

Ok, thanks. I see Dr Jerry DePersio has shown cars at Amelia Island and even won at Pebble Beach but I haven't found a good contact for him in Southern Cal. Will keep looking and hope he's still above ground.

When I just searched, there is a Jerard J. DePersio that has a Facebook page which says he attended medical school at University of Tennessee and he appears to have interest in vintage cars. It looks as if he is in Southern California, too. Perhaps you could contact that person to see whether that may be him?

Dr. Depersio's nephew is a friend of mine, living here in NW Indiana. I saw him yesterday and he confirmed the elder Dr. Depersio is his uncle (now deceased), and his son, the nephew's cousin still lives in CA. Contact me via email and I will get you contact information.
