Good afternoon.

Does anyone know the correct size of the dowel pins?  I'm looking for some replacements.  Thanks.

Don.

If you have a couple of spare 5/16" drill bits, simply cut off the ends at the required length, and chamfer each end, and you are good to go.

PS.   Don't forget to re-chamfer the end of the drill at the completion.

Oh really?  That's a good idea.

Thanks for the answers, guys.

You could also cut two pieces from one drill, but then, that might render the drill unuseable for drilling.

These Dowels are hardened steel, so mild steel would deform easier as it is belted hone.  Plus, it would rust faster.
