69 Coupe Deville - Need help in identifying wires under dash

Hi guys,

I need help in identifying these two wires under the dash. I was testing the horn relay and noticed these two.

1. There is a green wire with a connector attached. I dont recall pulling this out from anything!!! so dont know where this goes. Should be easy if someone can know about this?

2. Second one is a bit off ... if you see in pic2 there is a yellow wire going to the climate control/transducer wire harness. Now this yellow wire was cut and connected to a red wire. The red wire goes out from the firewall and somewhere down near the trans. I have not gone under the car.

Will be going under the car in the next few days ...any idea???

The green wire goes to the rear defroster. If your car isn't equipped with it, then the wire isn't connected. That most likely explains why you don't remember disconnecting it.

Does your master vacuum switch and blower switch work? If not, then someone probably jumped those making a connection directly to the battery terminal on the starter switch.
