I've recently purchased a 1961 Series 62 4-window, it has a trim code 39 which from all that I can find, should be Rose Canberra Cloth & Rose coated fabric.
I can't even find a listing for complete vinyl seats in 1961, yet my car has completely pink vinyl? (severely sun faded however)
Is it even possible to have come from the factory this way, or are these reupholstered seats?
They do seem to have the factory look/style.
(Btw... some button caps are missing, that's why they look black.)

Seats have been reupholstered.

Am I correct in believing Cadillac did not offer completely vinyl seats in 1961?

That is correct.

Thank you for your response, I was perplexed because I have seen the exact same seats in pics on the Internet, although they were different years.

Vinyl seating was offered in later years on Calais models in the later '60s.  Otherwise the only way to get vinyl seating prior to that would be by Special Order. If this were the case, the TRIM code on the data plate would read "SO" followed by the body number.
