I just spotted this too. Will all the V-8 lovers on this CLC Message Board now take a close look at the CT6? Even Consumer Reports rates it as a fine car (without the V-8).

The engine looks nice, though I'm not a fan of -only- direct injection, I would not consider the car.

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I won't be buying any more new cars, just going to keep driving older stuff.

I wonder how much testing they've done.  These days, you'd expect 300k out of a well treated car.  With that engine being so far on the edge, I'm excited to see what it is capable of in the longetivity category. 

It sure would be nice if Cadillac pulls it off.  Direct injection and all.

I'm not a fan of high reving small displacment turbocharged engines in passenger cars.  Race cars yes, street cars no. 
And a 10 speed automatic?  Hell, they can't even get the current 8 speed to shift right!
