Hello,
I installed a new top motor on 68 Deville.
the top sits on the windshield header and locks correct but there is a gap of about 3 inches from the top if the windows to the top.
Is there anyway to adjust this ?
You help is appreciated.

Three inches??  Wow, something is strange.  There are stop adjustments on the windows inside the doors but I don't know if you can get this much adjustment out of them.  Maybe. 

Has the top frame ever been adjusted or moved?  Could it be setting too high?

Basically.....Impossible.  ???  The rear of the bow is locked at a pivot point. The cylinder only moves it. Is it an even 3", or is it sitting on a downward angle towards the bow?
