Exhaust Manifold and Upholstery

I have a 1956 Cadillac Coupe Deville can you tell me if an exhaust manifold leak will effect engine vacuum?
Also is there a place where you can order seat covers already made  for this car?

Exhaust manifold leak should not have any noticeable effect on manifold vacuum.


Not sure where one might order pre-made seat covers...

As far as I can tell, there is no pre made seat covers, because Cadillac offered like fifteen different styles of fabrics, and even the seats were all different depending on the model you bought. For example, the Fleetwood parts car and my sedan deville have 100 percent different seat backs.

If I'm not mistaken, I think USA parts supply has a section where you can order new upholstery.  It's not cheap, and I have no idea of it's accuracy, but I do think they are made specifically by year/make/model.  Check out their online Cadillac catalogue.
