Hi, I had my cluster repaired in 2015. It worked just fine until last year. As I was driving one day, I saw a change in the mileage but ignored , thought it was me. On the way to the Grand National last year it happened again and I caught it, the odometer kicked back 100 miles when it reached was turning over for 150,000. This time when it got to 150,000 again it bounced up 40,000 miles to 190,000. My mechanic said it was the cluster. I spoke to the guy who repaired it said it sounds like the speed sensor, which is a common thing with the (Fleetwood) Broughams. I just got it in the mail today and hoped to have it put in soon. Any feedback would be help full.

I don't see how a speed sensor would make jumps that large, or
in nice single digit changes.  Its probably the odometer, or actually
the electronic counter that drives the display.  Bruce Roe

Thanks Bruce, where is the electronic counter and can it be fixed? Bill

Don't know where it is, but right behind the display is likely.  So
your mechanic was probably right.  It will take a specialist in
these units to fix it.  Bruce Roe

Thanks Bruce, I will do some research, in the mean time, I already got the speed sensor, so I might as well have it put in, Bill!
