Value of 41 6219?

A friend of mine has what appears to be a 1941 6219 from the few pictures he just sent me. I don't think it runs and would need everything. I'm wondering what would be a fair offer. I'm thinking like a 1000 bucks maybe 2? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Very difficult to figure from that picture and knowing what you want. A decent restoration would be 10 to 40 K in my opinion depending on existing condition and level of restoration you would be planning on.

Yeah, that's for sure Gary. What I'm hoping to find out is what is the value of this type of car in say a #3 condition out of 4.

I haven't gone to look at it yet but it appears to not be running based on the lack of air cleaner. But say it is complete but in running driving condition still in need of restoration but could be driven as is. Hagerty doesn't go back far enough to give enough info.

If the body is sound (no major rust)  and chrome can be polished up and glass is god and upholstery is satisfactory  maybe 1 to 4 K is my SWAG.                            SWAG = scientific wild ass guess.
Maybe a bit more if it runs well.  Easy car to dump 30 to 40 K into and have a 20K car.
