Stupid post, I know. Just having a little fun.
Had the 55 out last nite and she hit her first bug in about 30 years.
Nice to have it on the road again.

Great picture.   Looks like you really got it all, guts and all.

What speed were you travelling at, as I have never seen a splattered bug in such clarity.

I have seem many of the 100 MPH bug remains, and I know from experience that if one travels at around 35 MPH, there is sufficient time for the bugs to get out of the way.

It is all about air movement, and once the movement is too fast, the mass of the said bug stops it from following the air up and over the windscreen, to safety.

It wasn't my expert driving, that's for sure.
The poor thing never had the chance to come outside and play. She was sitting in a shed for at least 20 years before I got it. Car has gone less than 3k miles since 1984.
