I got a new battery for the '79 a couple of days ago and had the time to swap it today. Everyone but Eric might be amazed when the car wanted to try to start on the first crank. It has more or less been a garage queen for nearly two years. It started easily with no valve clatter at all. (I'm pretty sure the LOL I bought it from said it's turned over once. 160K.)

Now THIS is what Cadillac needs to come up with to be the Standard of the World again. It heats when you need heat, and cools when you are too hot. And you don't have to touch a thing. And you think you're floating on air going down the road.

I'm going to make an appointment Monday to have the programmer switched and then start cleaning her up.
