Hello ,
   I posted this question about 5 years ago Without any clear answer . i am going to give it another shot . I am very curious about the place my car was shipped to. MCD has to stand for something . I have added a photo .

My guess that was too early for it to have stood for McDonalds.
If you think it stayed close to home, MCD is the airport identifier for Mackinac Island airport in MI. Or, it is the identifier of the Merced CA railroad station. The railway thought makes a little more sense. I have no idea if that means anything or not.
