Can anyone tell me if you can place the wheel balancing weights on only the rear side of the wheels. When mine were done  on my 53 Series 62 they put them on the front (facing out side)  and I think they look horrible. I noticed cars in pictures at the GN with no visible wheel weights. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated

I have regular steel wheels on my '41 and the weights are on the inner side. Didn't seem to make a difference and certainly looks better.

thanks, the "wheel guy" said it had to do with the spokes. I don't believe him though.

You can also use "stick-on" weights toward the center of the rim behind the spokes.

I have them only on the back side of my 2 sets of HK wires.  It works well.  The tape weigh is also a good idea.

Stick on near the center of the wheel or regular weights on the inside only.

I won't let any shop put any weights on any of my lipped wheels, even the plain old steel wheels, but especially not a chromed or polished wheel. The STS & CTS do not even have weight lips so all their weights have to be stick on.
