Hello,

I purchased this 1948 Series 61 Sedan a few days ago and I am trying to sort out a few small issues. The interior has been redone and is not correct but it is very usable but the center pillar post were left undone. Can anyone tell me what material these are made from under the upholstery and how they are supposed to be fastened to the post?
Thanks,
James

I don't know how yours were fixed James, you will have to study the pillar for signs of that,  perhaps hidden trim clips? but these were usually headlining material over a thin layer of cotton wadding, over a piece of what we call 'Millboard' here which would be cut to match the pillar shape. You may have a different name for it.
