Does anyone know if Bel-Air patch panels for fender and/or quarter panels would "closely" match a Cadillac of the same year? Furthermore would the a Bel-Air fender and/or quarter panel direct fit a Cadillac?

I need patch panels for my 1955 Coupe and they don't seem to exist for purchase anywhere.

Not even close would be my conclusion.

The time spent tweaking one to get it even close would exceed the time to make one from scratch.

I assumed that would be the answer but thought i would give it a try. Do you know anyone selling full panels?

What year / body style Cadillac are you seeking
panels for?

I don't know of anybody selling patch panels
for fenders, doors, rear quarters, etc. for a
'55 Cadillac.  I've seen floor patch panels, rocker
panel replacements and that kind of stuff from
several suppliers on the internet.

Certainly nothing like they make for Chevy & Ford
models where you can rebuild your car from parts.

When I restored my '55 Eldorado, I had to have
patch panels fabricated.  I also had to buy a parts
car for floors, rear valence, and trunk pieces.

Metal fabrication can become expensive depending
on how bad your rust situation is.

Best of luck,

Mike
