Hello!
One of my club members is in need of some help with a set of hood springs for a 1941 Fleetwood 60S.  We thought we had this taken care of but the set we found were for another series.  Apparently the 60S are slightly different than the rest.  Any help with a source that might make some or with someone who has an extra set would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Ken Karrer

Hello Ken , I know I have a spare hood and it had hinges on it but i am not sure about the springs , it is buried in a shed I will look later today when I am home from work and give you a call.  My buddy and I met you at the GN  spent a lot of time drooling over Joan and its AC install and your 61 of course  :D

Thanks Marty.  I'm trying to get this 41 60S in a little better shape for our VP Larry Ross and the hood spring replacement is one of the last touches.  I hate prop rods especially on great cars.  Let me know what you find out.  I'm thinking that someone out there makes the damn things, but no luck yet.
Take care and see you at GN next summer,
Ken

I'm sorry, but there is probably not enough demand for anyone to make reproductions of these brackets and springs. Try Honest John or AllCads if you need them quickly. They are completely different from the other Series.
