Have not visited the museum yet, but the aerial view in that image is very inviting.
My impression from flying in and around the Kal/Battle Creek area was the red barns and green fields and woods. I immediately was reminded of the rooster on the barn on the Corn Flakes box. Except I thought about how cold the winters are there...
It is great to see the architecture of the museum blend with that so well.
I also thought about the way Michigan played a significant role in mechanized agriculture and automobile production and the skilled craftsmen who made a lot of that possible.
