Got my first copy yesterday, stayed up way too late reading it cover to cover.
Fun articles, some great pics, loved the glossy paper and larger print.
Something to look forward to monthly other than bills...
BZ to the folks who produce the magazine!

I don't know if you've received a copy of the International
Directory or not. That's usually sent out in the fall of the
year.
Perhaps if they have a left over copy from last year you
can still get one. It contains quite a bit of information
including a listing of members, cars they own, judging
classes, winners at past Grand Nationals and winners
of various Special Awards and lots more.
If it doesn't show up soon send an E-mail to Mike Book
our Office Manger Mike Book: Cadlasalleclub@aol.com
They may be able to help you out if a copy is available.

The editor is FIRST RATE...his language etiquette, viz: grammar and spelling , are always prefect. His editor's messages are consistently engaging and well wriiten....They deserve a separate "collection." . A book published with accompanying images.

As a member of
The Self-Starter
staff, please allow me thank all of you for your kind comments. These comments keep me going hard, even after 15 years of designing the magazine and presenting our Cadillacs and LaSalles in the best light possible. Tim

The article on the artist is really neat. I like the ads. We all complain about pricing but I always see a few good buys. Like that 73 Sedan deVille with 36,000 miles

I've always liked it. I keep all the SS (over 20 years worth) issues and several of the annual directory issues.

I have always enjoyed the SS and learned from it. I too keep back issues, going back to when I joined as a young ignorant punk in the mid-80’s. If you don’t like the classified prices, just go back and look at some of those issues!

I have always been a fan of the Self Starter and greatly appreciate all of the hard work that goes into each edition. Not only is it a wonderful publication but it can often be a great selling tool for our club. Where else can you get such a great value like the Cadillac LaSalle Club membership, wonderful cars and friends plus a nationally recognized first class magazine. I know a lot of folks keep their collections but the old issues make great items to pass out to potential new members as an incentive to join.
