1975 headlamp switch

Most probably I will have to organize a light switch for a French owner. According to the parts book, the light switch is the same, no matter if the car has the Twilight Sentinel system or not. Is that true?

The SWITCH is the same. The bezels, backlights, rings, etc differ on whether is has Twilight Sentinel, Guidematic, both either or none.

The information at Rockauto is sometimes misleading. If you look below, the one offered by Standard includes the part number 1995197 wich is the correct number for 1975.

To elaborate here is an example switch:

Notice there are no knobs, rings, bezels, etc. Those will all  come from the original switch assembly.
