Don't you love it when some parks so close!! A home owner in my building owns the space behind the one I own where I park the Talisman. Guess he wanted to see if his Honda plastic front bumper and license plate holder was stronger then steel.  ::)  ::)

I remember that my grandmother used to park
by "sound".  That is, back up or pull forward until
you hear "crunch".  Then you're set.

Boy, I'd be p.o.'d. My 76 coupe rub strips are a little chewed up from this type of parking by its previous owner.

Is this a condo type development? Who's closer to the board members, you or the moron with the rice burner?
If you, have the board write him a letter and put a couple of road cones behind the Caddy, and a note under his wiper "do not park so close to my car". If it continues catch the idiot in person, and with a charming smile simply say "Did you not get a letter from the board? Did you not read my note? Do not park so close to my car?" Then smile, which evolves to a hysterical laugh, then walk away.

Its not what you will do, it's what you might do that scares people. And 'crazy' scares most people.

I have seen this happen to my daily driver on a street where I parallel parked.

You would think that the other driver would at least put it into reverse and back off a few inches.  Just goes to show many do not look at a car as a nice possession, but rather more of an utility appliance.  I have heard stories of people parallel parking by hitting the other car, but not witnessed it.

Don't go to the board on this at this point. Not worth a pissed off neighbor-- Something else may "accidently" happen.
I really like the cone idea. It's an extra step when you go to drive it but safer. Hey if At&t can do it, so can you!
I remember the 1st time I drove the 55 to work. I was pointing it out to someone out the window (3rd floor) and as I was looking at it I saw some idiot park like that.

Put some large bubble wrap against your car.

When he hears the popping sound, he'll think someone's shooting at him..... you may never see him ever again.

you could put a large sheet of bubble wrap on the ground behind your car, when he drives on it it will definetly make him take notice. 8),Better watch he doesnt try and say your car rolled back into his?.Harveyb

People can be so inconsiderate. They see an old car and assume its just a junker. I'm pretty sure thats how people feel about my hearse too

It may not show it well, but returned to my car to have this white POS pressed against my nice Wedgewood blue CVPI.  No damage, but just stupid.
