My wife asked me a question the other day that I thought I would ask the forum.

Do you have the Cadillac(s) you want?

If not, and based on your current financial situation (NOT if you won the lottery) what are you still looking for?

Me?  The only one I would like to add would be a '76 Coupe deVille.

Tim,
I'm not sure your question makes sense, at least to me.

My daily driver is a '13 CTS4 Performance Coupe & my Sunday driver is my '40 LaSalle.  Given your criteria of current financial situation, I would not have purchased either of these cars if they weren't what I was looking for.
Are you asking if there are people out there who've settled for something other than what they wanted or were looking for?

My tastes are forever changing and so my rotation of cars is always in flux.

I went from a 61 Fleetwood to a 70 deVille convertible as the show car.  For the project, I went from a 53 Fleetwood to a 77 Lincoln Town Car.  I have fun with the seek it, get it, enjoy it for a bit, move it along part of the hobby.  I'm losing interest in the 70 a little faster than I thought - so, it may go up for sale in the not too distant future and I may seek a 77 Town Coupe to compliment the 77 Town Car.  What does that mean?  It means the stable will be void of Cadillacs for awhile as the late 70's Lincolns are really speaking to me of late.

Not saying I won't come back when the 70 goes over the curb, but, having had Cadillacs since 2004, it's time to change it up a bit.

Out of room for now but a 61 Coupe, if you happened to see Chasing Classic Cars last night Wayne Carini bought a beauty.  The one at the GN this year was amazing too..

1970 Fleetwood with no vinyl top and leather interior, ideally a 60 special with bench seat where seat is same height as drive in middle.

Always wanted a 67 Lincoln 4 dr convertible with tilt and ac, and a 66 Thunderbird convertible with cruise, power windows and ac (maybe the 428).  Those are difficult to maintain the top operation I hear, so we will see.

Three 1970 Cadillacs is enough for me now.  I see my friends with more than three and they struggle - wonder if they are having fun (they all work a demanding career).

After seeing a '34 LaSalle Coupe at the Texas GN, I want one of those.

But I would settle for a '70 FWB.

Dan,

You will never be able to replace your 70 in the future. It's a great car!
And going over to the dark side?  Wow.

Chas,

You should call me regarding a much better opportunity on a 60 than a Coupe DeVille.
