After a 3 hour nap and a shower, we were outta here at 7am and arrived in Plymouth at exactly
8am, wooosh!
This was really my first long, sustained highway ride with the 4 new springs, shocks, new front end parts, holy cow what a difference. Not quite the handling of a McClaren but for a 51 year old nearly 3 ton land yacht this was as nice as its ever handled, just phenomenal. And when you don't have to stay alert since the car has such good road manners now the car puts you to sleep faster cruising. And what a quality of life improvement being able to finally use my cigarette lighter to keep my phone charged, jeez its the little things. Weather was pleasant, low 70's, cloudy, breezy. Only 200 cars showed up but we had fun anyway. The "Rebels and Rods" car club, they do more charity events than any other club I know. Best part is the view of busy Plymouth Harbor, pleasure boats coming and going, fishing boats... I was home, including a stop at the grocery store ($50 for 1 bag of groceries at the cheapest grocery store on the Cape? Where's Brandon?) by 1130am, nice. WOOOSH! The car just flies and its so solid. And that tail pipe extension made ALL the difference in the world. I had the heat on going up and the windows closed. No blast of monoxide when I took my foot off the gas coming up to the exits, sweet!
Topsfield Fair tomorrow, lot longer ride, I should slow down a bit and enjoy the cruise more. Nah...
Pics from today, enjoy. Drive your cars, time grows short here in the NE and across the north.

Hey Laurie -- the Ark, as usual, looks great.  I knew
he would be riding GREAT after all that suspension
work.  Like turning back the clock 50 years.

Thanks Mike! Holy cow what a difference. JEEZ!
Topsfield mission was canx when I slept for 11 hours which closed my window for traffic
through Boston. Oh well. Maybe next year if I'm still here.
