I'm a newbie when it comes to my 55 Coupe.  I had took my trans out  and down to my local shop. They said the seals had worn down the hub, but when I looked at it, the grooves looked like they were machined.  Is it possible the seals did this or is that the way they were made. I attached 2 photos for you to see. one shows the outside and the other shows the inside groove.
