I can open all of the windows using the driver's switches.  I can only close the driver's window.  The other three switches will not close the other windows.  They can be closed using the switch at each of the other windows.

Well, sounds like the window motors are working properly. I would say that your master switch at the driver side is bad.

They have reproductions, or you can get yours repaired, or buy another NOS one.  I went through 3 before I got a really good one.  Fusick Automotive repaired my rear window switches for my 1949 limousine in about 2 weeks.

The contacts inside are likely just dirty or corroded.
They are not that hard to take apart.  There are small
spring clips that you pull out with fine needle nose
pliers (careful not to lose these!) and everything is
serviceable.

I took the master switch and the 3 others apart on
my '55 and in a few hours they were working like new.
