Are the difference between the 1980 368 engine and the 1981 V8-6-4 version of the 368 limited to fuel injection, rocker solenoids and valve covers associated with V8-6-4 functions?

Dave Shepherd

Yes, that's about it, only changes were what was required for cylinder deactivation.

TJ Hopland

Rockers and solenoids were stud mounted so you could easily swap between regular or deactivation if you had the parts.   Intakes were different depending on 4bbl or EFI but that is an easy swap too if you have the parts.
