My interior work is a about to start, and I sure could use pictures of other 1947 Cadillac convertibles.  The pictures could range from the door panels, carpet, seats, and top.  The way and where it snaps to the car body.  Also the boot for the top, how it looks when it is in place.  My problem started when I purchased the car, the original interior was not in the car.  I plan to make it as original as possible.  The company that will be doing the work has done a few classic cars but never a 47 convertible.  Please send all the pictures you can either to the form or my e-mail. gblake42@aol.com

                                   thank you,   Gary

Gary, if you haven't done so it would be a good idea
to invest in the club's authenticity manual that covers
1947.  Pictures are great, but the manuals have quite
a bit of information as to what is "correct" as far as
interior color schemes, materials, etc.

Go to the Forum home page and look at the "Technical"
tab for the listing of manuals available.  For less than $50
you will learn quite a bit!

The '47 manual is a little vague if you ask me. Better pictures on Google Images and spending some time doing some research on "The Net".......

Hi Bobby:

I have no personal knowledge of the '47 manual, but
I do of some of the others and the ones I've seen
are quite good.

The issue with the OP's asking for pics, as I
see it, is how will he know if what he's looking at
(including stuff on the net) is correct or not?  Some
kind of authoritative reference is helpful to have
IMHO.

Mike,
I wholeheartedly agree. I was a little disappointed when I purchased mine. '47 is tough year car to deal with. A lot of things pertain to that year only. I know Cadillac changed things up almost every year, but there is very little info circulating regarding 40's era cars. I've gotten more info and help from some of the great people on this Forum, and they know who they are  ;).........
