This is available near me. Body repainted, undercarriage not bad, 64,000 miles, interior nice. I've come to learn a lot about my 1941, but know nothing about particular issues or things to watch on the '58. Any advice or cautions welcomed. Couldn't transfer picture so I had to take a picture of my cell phone.

They started at 25. Down to 23. While exterior is very nice, I'm thinking 15 to 18 tops. The guy has no history of the car, so I'd have no idea of what's been maintained.

Anytime white paint is involved its a concern of mine.  Hides too much.

More photos. The last one concerns me. The rusted cross member. The floor and trunk panels don’t look bad. I do pay attention to you folks with a lot more experience at this than me. I was lucky finding my ‘41 as it is original and pristine.

Jim,
With the condition of that floor mount, I would try to put the car on a lift to check the rest of the under side. The front suspension cross member is prone to rusting out. Check it where the lower A arms are connected to it.

I second the questioning regarding the last picture.   With a part as rusty as that, I would be seriously concerned about the rest of the underside.

I was notified about what looked like a very nice '72 Eldorado from Michigan, but the underneath pictures I had a fellow CLC Member take for me really turned me off it.   The seller was not of the condition.

Thanks for the feedback. Best I can tell this was a Michigan car, which show when looking close at undercarriage. Good looking topside, but I'm not going to pursue it.
