On my 1954 Cadillac, the driver's side outside door handle latch needs the button pushed way in and does just release the latch.  I have adjusted the inside lever a couple of times, but not the outside push button.  Is the push button adjustable or not?  Thanks for any help.  Jim

These buttons are not adjustable.

Sounds like something is work within the lock itself.
