I’m replacing the front outer bushings (upper and Lower) in my 47, 6269 and was wondering if there is any rule on setting the bushings location so I’ll be close to caster and camber settings before I have aligned at the shop?

In theory, factory settings should be close to middle of the caster range for the upper bushing. Camber is adjusted after caster target is found (and you will affect camber if you adjust caster) so not as important to ‘guess’ camber right.  If something else in the suspension is bent or worn, the nominal point for caster could be quite different. Camber will be within +/- 180 degrees rotation of the upper eccentric from the caster target position.
