The rear windows on my 1935 V8  sedan 6033 have delaminated to the point they are becoming useless. Has anyone here replaced their windows on this or similar models? Any advice? In particular, how are they removed?

Thanks for the help.

Steve Passmore

Remove by cutting out the rubber. It pays to replace with new rubber anyway.  The glass is flat so any competent glazier can cut new.

try not to break the old glass as the glass man will need them for patterns, beats trying to copy to a piece of cardboard and guessing if it will fit. Harveyb

I had to get a windscreen replaced fort a friend and simply made up a pattern.

When I said that the glass needed to be exactly the same size, the glass supplier said that it won't be a problem because they simply put the pattern on a table, and the Laser machine goes around it, and sends the information to the computer, and the laminated glass it cut out by a water jet.

Only cost AU$240.00 for a tinted laminated glass piece in Automotive spec glass.

Boy, haven't things changed.
