My 1937-60 fuel pump has a glass bowl on the top and I understand that this is a later but better pump. While messing around with my hot restart issue I noticed a little leak around the glass fuel bowl. So I have some questions so I can get the right gasket:

1. What years were the pumps with the glass bowl used?
2. Is the fuel bowl gasket the same on all of the glass bowl pumps?
3. Where is the best place to get this gasket?
4. Does anyone have the part number?

Thanks, Steve

I tried the 773 gasket and it is too small. I'm going back to NAPA and do some more looking. Steve

How many other gaskets did you try that don't fit and you failed to mention so no one else goes to too much trouble trying to assist you?

The fuel pump in my 41 also has the bowl on top and was seeping. It was a cork gasket that had atrified. Cadillac Parts Ltd had the correct cork gasket. I'd give them a call.
