Saw this in Hemmings last month and finally looked it up.  Valve covers fit 368, 425, 472 & 500 engines. Some of their designs have been around a while.  Here's the link.

They sure are nice, but where is the breather and PCV connections, and where is oil fill?  The engineer in me emerges.

Don't be frightened.

They will mill holes for $45 each, so that'll be another $90 (oil fill & pcv valve).

Kinda pricey though....

I figured that me , you & Scot could share a cheap hole saw from Harbor Freight.

You want to play, you gotta pay.

If not go get a pair of used ones and paint them Cadillac Blue and live with it.

Actually I rather do that. Chrome or silver was not the color under the hood in 1968.

How would you use them on one of these engines with no holes?   Wouldn't you always want at least one hole?

Do they have any sort of baffle option if you do have them add holes?    I know you can buy the 'baffled' grommets but those never seem to work as good as the OE style baffles did.

I drove my 1970 DVC on a 30 mile trip today and it was awesome, even with nice standard blue factory (no pits) valve covers - holes and all.

Wouldn't mind putting a pair on my own Eldo, as they would go with the rest of the alterations in my engine bay.
