hello !

I have rebuilt front and rear A/C systems on my 69 limo

From what I can see in the shop manual it seems to mention nothing about how to gas the rear unit up.....

the rear valve has a connection on it for gassing ....

i cant see another connection for the high / low pressure connection??

Q, is the rear unit evacuated/ tested for leaks / gassed thru the front system ?

OR do the connections on the rear unit need to be used as well ?

Murray nd thankyou!

The rear poa is identical to the front save maybe the oil recovery line. Don’t worry about that. Everything is charged through the front low side, while also monitoring the high side psi. You will be getting close when you see the rear “larger” line start to frost up where it enters the trunk.
