Pinstriping the '77 Eldorado

CarLife Magazine had a similar feature showing the striping of a '68 Pontiac.   The framework was placed against the side of the completed car and the operator simply applied the striping as they walked down the length of the car.

I would post the picture, but it isn't a Cadillac.

Thanks for sharing this picture! It's really neat to see this process and to read the information. These seventies Eldorados had such extraordinary personalization available considering paint, vinyl top styles and colors and various upholsteries, and accent stripes, that such choices contribute to their exquisite characteristics!

It looks like the non-Biarritz '77 Eldorados came with a painted stripe?  My Biarritz has tape stripes.

I thought that all the striping was painted on before they left the factory.

Any vehicle that would have been done by the Dealer would most likely have been taped, as they would not have had the guide framework.
