I was watching on MeTV an episode of Charlie's Angels.

In fact I have been watching a few shows lately. Amazing to go back to 1978 and see some cars from the late 60s and early 70s that were considered used cars then.

However have seen an episode with Jaime Lee Curtis that had a black 1978 Cadillac Deville Convertible in it. Had a gray leather interior. Wonder what that would be worth today?

How many were made that year? Or converted I should say.

Here is a Seville from an episode.

I purchased the series collection of Perry Mason, currently watching the 1st season.

He goes back and forth between driving '57 / '58 Cadillac convertibles and '57 & '58 Fords.

He looks so much more "appropriate" in the Cadillac than the Ford.  He was a high powered, highly paid defense attorney.

I think in later seasons he transitioned to Lincolns, perhaps a contract with Ford?

Funny thing about old TV shows, the houses pretty much look all the same, but the cars really date the show.

In one of the early episodes, his client owned a used car lot. It had a long ton of old caddys in it. In particular, I remember a light colored 49 sedannette. It was in different scenes in the episode.
Enjoy.
