Seat springs 66 deville conv.

When i sit in the rear seat i can hear the springs flexing, pretty loud. Whats the fix?

Sounds like you might have some broken springs.

The best thing to do would be to remove the rear seat and have a good look at it from underneath, looking for any damage.

These seat bases should have a hessian layer on top of the springs, which is interwoven with straight wires to act as a base for the padding.

If any of this is damaged, the springs can come together and make odd noises.

Pictured is from a '69, so possibly, the '66 could be of a similar construction.
