I am wondering if someone can set me in the right direction on how to decode the VIN Tag on a 1940 LaSalle?
Thanks in advance for any and all help...

There is no VIN tag on a 40 LaSalle. If you mean the aluminum data plate on the cowl, post a pic & we can decode it.

I can do that once I have the car at my location. I wasn't sure if the VIN number on the title would give any info or not. Thanks in advance...
