Chrome Trim around windows. Help!

how on EARTH do I get these off without destroying them.
72 Fleetwood window chrome trim pieces.

Probably screwed on but you’ll need to remove the weather strip for access . Best to review the Fisher Body manual

I assume that's the rear window. In '66 the trim was held on with spring clips that attach to studs welded into the window channel. There's a flat blade tool with a hook that's slid under the trim to release the clip. Previously, you mentioned a friend in the body repair business. He may be able to give you a quick tutorial. If you see it done and see the clips, you'll have a better feel of how to do it yourself. Try not to damage the clips. They're are still available but getting harder to find. The windshield is similar.
