This weekend I attended the McCormicks Palm Springs, California  auction. There seemed to be an over abundance of Cadillac's offered with 24 Cadillacs on the listing and a couple more late arrivals that were not listed.
Here are three that caught my eye.
First was a 1978 Biarritz with powered T-Tops. Presented as one of seven produced by Hess & Eisenhardt with 38,000 original miles.
The second is a station wagon conversion announced as one family owned until now.
Third was a 1959 Convertible with a salvage title.

Did the Cadillacs sell?  If so, would you mind sharing the sale price? Thanks

The T-Top is only over the driver's side - nothing on the passenger's side - right - so cool and power no less.

The 59, with the salvage title, looked mighty nice from the "D" side picture.

Prices would be nice or a web site we could check out.

Have fun,

That makes sense, but look at the second picture.
Does it look like there is a 1/2 of a T-Top ???
Perhaps more pics of the car - passenger side - would be more clear.

Have fun,

Thanks for the pic - I assume it is of the auction car.
That car is about 20 years newer than my wheelhouse.

However, now I'm curious.
Do the T-Tops fold in, one on top of the other, like a deck of cards - in the middle of the roof.
Seems like that would take up allot of headroom.
They also seem too deep to butt up against one another when retracked.
Or, do they slide backwards over the rear seating area.
Any pics of the interior with the T-Tops retracted.

Have fun,

Steve,

Sure looks like the "T" top panels slide side to side and reside in between front seat passengers when both are retracted.  One of local CLC members owns a similar yellow Eldoardo and the power "T" top panels slide back above rear passengers and the metal between the two panels is narrower.  This work is a subcontract by Cadillac or an aftermarket modification, so "T" top modifications may differ.  They take up a lot of headroom either way.
