I had always understood that the p/s pumps on these cars were the same or at least interchangeable, but the MPL shows 2 different numbers, and I’m trying to confirm the identity of a spare pump I picked up many years ago. But I don’t see any number on the pump, at least without removing the reservoir. Are there visual differences that can help determine what I’ve got?

David,

Looks like the 2 are for air suspension and non air suspension.  The non air suspension has a different P/N between '59 & '60,  I'm almost certain that either would work.

The photos have the info in them.

David,
I agree with the other David, that the pumps are the same except for the attaching of the air compressor.
And although the latter has 2 bolts, you only need plug one and move on, at least that is what I have been told, but no personal knowledge.

Have fun,

David I just pulled mine off and rebuilt it today here are a few pictures. It is a 1960 without air-conditioning. I am just realizing it should have been painted black, oops.

They are different, the 59, the in fluid hose is on the outer side of the pump or if ur looking at the pump from your fender, 60 is on the inner, toward the engine

Correct, the 60 pressure hose is inboard closer to the head, the non pressure hose outboard closer to the fender.

Thanks, all.  I've been traveling and away from my garage, but this will enable me to confirm what I've got.
