Hello all,

I was looking at my fender skirts when I was fixing them up, and noticed a way to lock them in place, for me it was to prevent them from being easily stolen as my 55 was a daily driver.

I made a simple metal piece that slides in place, easily reached from outside.

After moving lever in place there is space that looks like it was made for a locking piece, so I made one that works great.

Pic 1. The lever in the unlock position
Pic 2. Lever in the lock position with the hand made locking piece
Pic 3, 4, 5, dimension/size pics of locking metal piece.

It also would help from losing the skirt while driving if your is loose, keeps it locked in place

Hope this helps others
