What is the correct hub cap for a Sedan Deville? I know at an extra cost the wire ones where available, but what was the standard hub cap?

                             Thanks, Joe

This is the optional "Turbine" wheel cover for 78.

Brushed chrome center with black painted area in the fins.

Used from 1977-1979 in this style.

I believe this was first used for 1975-76 deville.  EAM

The turbine style discs were first offered in 74 & 75 with the vane section in a silver tone. For 76, the center section was painted black. They would have either a crest for non Fleetwood, wreath & crest for Fleetwood series

I believe in 1976 the center was painted with the color of the car for Eldorados only, not Devilles or Calais cars.  EAM

Jagbuxx is correct.

From the 1976 catalog.

"...a new disc with black hub and an argent and chrome turbine vaned wheel disc. (Except Eldorado)"

This is the optional disc for Calais/DeVille (large crest only). Fleetwood version had wreath with smaller crest.

Well he is asking about a 1978.  That is why I specified that the correct ones for 78 would be the 1977-1979 ones with the black outer area painted black.
The 1974 - 76 ones would be wrong.
