1939 Reveal Molding Removal

The stainless steel reveal molding on my 1939 LaSalle snaps over the pinch weld. It looks straight forward to remove but I thought I would check if there were any tricks before I start. Thanks for the help.

If this is original and has not been off before or if it was installed many years ago, heat up the molding with a heat gun.  The sealant used between it and the pinch weld will be hard as a rock but it will soften with heat.  Go easy as it can be bent if too much force is used.  When reinstalling use 3M 08509.

Thanks for the tip Brad. I do have a tube of the 3M for the rest of the windshield install.
