Will a Gates 562TG belt fit on a 40 to 48 generator belt application? This a heavy duty green stripe belt & old stock.
Thanks in advance.

Dave,
Thanks but I already had that info. I need the specs on a 692 so I can compare it to mine. So old books had the specs in the back of the book. Any ideas?

Bob, the website below is a Gates interchange for the 692 number that you have, and it interchanges to a truck belt number TR28483.

https://www.gates.com/us/en/interchange/search/result?part-number=692

If you click on the red highlighted TR28483 and scroll down to the "product details", it shows it is 48.83 inches outside circumference, with a top width of .775 inches,  and has 36 degree angle.

You could probably phone or email Gates, and they could tell you the information you need to know.  I don't know about the old belts, but the sleeve on the newer Gates belts have the specs on the sleeve.

I hope this helps.
