G'day all,

Does anyone know what the part numbers are for the 6 Volt Fog Light globes that Cadillac used?

Plus, what Wattage should they be?

I have a large supply of 6 Volt globes, and included in these are some pre-focused single filament globes.

Thanks,

Bruce. >:D

PS.   Pictures would be nice.

The 6 volt fog lamp bulb used from 1947 to 1952 is part number 442 737.  The bulb number, 1022, may be on the bulb somewhere.  I don't know the wattage, but it is 32-21 candle power and is double contact.

Within the fog lamp there is also a single contact 6 volt small 2 candle power parking lamp bulb, part number 125 588 and bulb number 55.

Sorry, but I don't know how to post pictures here.

The 1022 bulb is a dual filament bulb. One filament is for the fog lamp and the other is for the turn signal. As posted, there is a separate 6 volt 55 bulb inside the fog lamp assembly for the parking lamp. Bill

Here are a couple pictures of 1022 bulbs. Marked 1022 sometimes on top of bulb and then some are marked on the flange. Bill

The bulb Bruce has is not a Cadillac fog lamp bulb, or at least not the 47-52 kind.  I've never seen that sort of bulb so don't know what it is for.

Thank you very much.

I will have to look further afield.

Hate to throw out good stuff, and I have a heap of them.

Thanks Gene.

With all the globes I have, and how old they are, plus being in Australia, I would say that you have hit the nail on the head.   Most cars were English here about the time that these lights would have been on the shelves.
