Hello Cadillac Collectors!

I am beginning to renovate my garage so my Cadillac and I have a place to enjoy during our upcoming Alaskan winter! Would like seeing pictures of your Cadillac garages/show rooms/man caves to use as inspiration.

Please share your pictures and favorite things about your garages!

Very impressive Ray. Your shop is an inspiration to us all.

BTW - Beautiful '59 4W. I'm sure the Class of 2019 enjoyed it!

Here's mine.  It's behind my house.  I also have another one 10 min away that stores a few more cars.  Showing from start in 2007 or so to current.

Ray, that's a spectacular space.  I hope that 60 Biarritz I sold you about 13 years ago didn't soil the place too badly.

Thank you, Ray! It looks great. What type of paint did you use on your floor? Are you pleased with it?

Thanks, Brian! Great garage. I would love to get a lift but I don’t have the ceiling height!

Brian that is a fantastic looking building you have !  No worries on the 60 I didn’t have this place back then lol . Sharp looking collection , we might have to talk about that red Deville ! 👍

Matt  it’s a commercial grade epoxy with a clear over the top , really durable , I had some trans fluid leak out and sit for 3 months on it and it wiped right off .

A coated floor is a must, cleaning up spills and leaks is so much easier and it looks much better.

Wow!  ^^ Nice stuff guys.  8)

Mine started as an empty pole barn.  Turned into a decent shop after insulation, interior paneling, lighting, heat, a/c, new trusses and painted floors.

Beautiful!!

The guy that built my garage insisted on doing the concrete floor and did a terrible job. He ordered too much concrete and didn’t have enough help to work it properly. The result was not good.
In order to get the floor smooth he brought in a floor grinding machine and smoothed it down but that took off the very hard top surface.  I lived with a dusty floor for years even though we tried to seal it.  The Racedeck floor hides all of that and I laid down heavy commercial weed blocker fabric as an underpayment and to block the dust. Seems to be working quite well.

My garage is a work in progress, so not the prettiest at the moment. 40'x35' heated with a forced air wood furnace and 2 storeys. Have just enough ceiling height to back a car on a trailer into it.

There is also a 16'x35' lean-to built on the end where I keep the tractors.

Plans are to add another overhead door, evenly space out and install larger windows on the second floor, paint the floor and drywall on the first level and build a diner style room on the second floor.

We bought the property with the garage already built, so I just need to finish it

I had mine built by a guy who just does garages, 16 days start to finish. I put in the Electrical, sheetrock, insulated the ceiling and walls, put in some lights and painted the floors. And yes you always wish it was bigger.
Oh and a couple of posters  ;D

You certainly do live by your signature not only in the cars you have but the things on the walls too  ;)

All of these are amazing,  but Ray I would like to know your dimensions, it has to be pretty big to swallow a 59.

The building is 10000 sq ft  . 100 by 100 . The picture shows about 4000 sq ft of it  We used 19000 sq ft of drywall for the walls and ceilings .

Mines a work in progress. Outside done as is interior sheetrock and commercial grade epoxy flooring and two lifts. One bay has 16’ ceiling to accommodate a ‘30’s height car being fully raised. 2nd floor is for storage and my business office space. Total sf approx 3,000sf. First picture is before and second after a year and a half.
