Front grill on my car was very dirty, black with grease and dirt that dried over the years before I got it. I’m sure it hadn’t been cleaned since ‘59. I used Quick- Glo original and it did a great job of cleaning it up and adding a shine but I’d like to know if anyone had any luck with any other products or if there is anyone out there who makes these new? I don’t know where to get the tool to remove the bullets so I don’t want to take it apart.

Taking that grille apart is a bigger job than it looks. Getting it back together so it will fit correctly is another job unto it's own.

Give this a look-see.

IT can be done,,, my helper , a 35 year old lady took mine apart ,all 130 bullets and useing a dowel to hold them , buffed each one out....used the rubber from a window screen to reassemble,, it looks good...

Totally doable even without the special tool. Just needs lots of patience. AUTOSOL cream works magic.

Not familiar with Autosol- I used Quick-Glo and it was quick and easy and left a nice coat of wax. I used a microfiber rag only.
