"Sidewalk Bolts" Used For Floor-Boards and Fender Mounting 1937 LaSalle

       The term 'sidewalk bolt' is a new one to me and I think I discovered it last year in my quest to obtain the proper round head slotted 1/4-20 screws used to hold down the transmission cover plate.
         The front end I obtained is barely together and it appears as though these same bolts are used through the fenders into captured nuts on the radiator shell. Am I correct?
        Someone mentioned the sidewalk bolt term and I wound up buying a package albeit with a phillips/straight slot head.

Also referred to as "Hurricane Shutter" Bolts. Not 100% original looking, but readily available in many lengths and a 100 pack of stainless is cheaper than a couple of original looking ones. Who's looking under your Carpet and Firewall?

I think you misread my question. I can't find them in MPL (Cadillac Master Part List)

Neither can I. I am wondering if they are the same bolt that holds the front of the fender to the grille shell. The front end I bought has a couple installed and it looks like the rest of them had the large head. I'm not worried about the look but if possible I'd like to find originals for the fenders, I like the single slot.

Have not found these in the MPL to date.  For sure they are not in Group 25 where all the standard bolts, screws etc. are.
