I am changing out worn front ent parts on my 1962. New springs and shocks.  What color are was the A frame and tie rod linkage from the factory? Frame black or gloss black? Thanks Dave

Why one ponies up the $40 to the club for an authenticity manual.

I don't know of any correct GM parts that are gloss, either unpainted or "semi".

If I recall correctly, I don't think that's covered in the authenticity manual.

Semi gloss (chassis black) would be correct.
