Trying to find out who makes these wheels. They're one of a few new wheel designs that look good on vintage Cadillacs but I cannot find out who makes them.

Tough question about who makes the wheels. The only thing I can think of is to go to a news stand and page through Road & Track, Car & Driver and Motor Trend to see if you can find them. If not, pick out one of the biggest advertisers (of wheels) contact them and see if they know which competitor is making this design. Someone at SEMA may also be able to help.

I found these a while back.  Available from Truespoke wire wheels.

Here are those wheels, on my 49, I bought from circle racing in Fresno, ca. About 5 years ago. The wheels on my son's 68 are from Colorado customs, cycle shop, custom manufacturing, IIRC.

I always put the hood up when showing my Eldorado.

This way, people who have never seen such a large engine, which is 99% of the Aussie population, in a production automobile can see what is in there.

Plus, it hides the crappy paint job of the hood.

It is when the astute observer sees the FWD axles, they get all excited.

I am going to make a sign that I can hang from the open hood, with coloured string pointing to all the features of the Eldorado, to show that new cars don't exclusively have new things.
